Holders now keep control of their Bitcoin through a single self-custody balance that works for both on-chain transactions and Lightning payments inside the Bringin v2 wallet.

Wallet Rebuild Details
The wallet inside v2 was rebuilt from scratch with the open-source Breez SDK on Spark, a layer-two protocol on Bitcoin. This rebuild supports the core functions users need for everyday Bitcoin activity.
Single Balance Use
Users can receive and pay both on-chain and over Lightning from a single balance. No manual swaps or channels require management at any point.
Key Control Features
Users hold the keys. Bringin takes part in transactions through multisig but never alone. Every wallet ships with pre-signed exit transactions so users can leave Spark on-chain without Bringin’s cooperation.
Receive And Send Options
A.btc Lightning address on bringin.xyz receives Bitcoin straight to the user’s self-custody wallet. Users can paste an on-chain address, a Lightning invoice or a Lightning address, and the app routes the payment.
One scanner reads Bitcoin addresses, Lightning invoices and Lightning addresses without extra steps.
Update Path For Current Users
Current clients update the app from the App Store or Play Store. Their wallet and balance carry over without interruption.
Availability Note
The app serves Bitcoiners in Europe. V2 is available to download at bringin.me.
How The Setup Works In Practice
The multisig arrangement keeps Bringin involved only as a co-signer. Pre-signed exits give holders an independent path off Spark at any time. The single balance removes separate handling for different payment types.
Receive flows start with the.btc address and land directly in the user’s controlled wallet. Send flows accept any of the three input formats and let the app decide the route.
The scanner supports all three formats in one interface. Updates preserve existing balances so no separate migration step is needed.
What Holders Gain From The Design
Holders gain a self-custody setup where on-chain and Lightning activity share one balance. The rebuilt structure uses open-source components on a Bitcoin layer-two protocol. Key control stays with the user through multisig participation that requires user approval.
Exit options remain independent because pre-signed transactions travel with each wallet. Address handling covers the main payment types without additional tools. European Bitcoiners can access the updated version through the stated download location.
This structure keeps the focus on user-held keys and straightforward payment routing within the published parameters.
