What Holders Receive Through the New Process
A holder sets up a route once inside the Agora Platform or through its API. That route specifies the token, the chain, and the exact destination wallet. After the setup the holder wires dollars using a unique memo tied to that route. When the wire lands Agora matches it, completes its checks, and issues AUSD directly to the wallet on a one-for-one basis. The same flow applies to any whitelabel token issued through Agora, so holders of those tokens gain identical ownership utility without extra steps.
Route Creation and Memo Details
Each route receives its own memo that carries a built-in check character. A damaged or mistyped memo simply fails instead of matching a different route by accident. The wire must arrive from a bank account already on file with Agora and must be sent in the account holder’s own name. This requirement keeps the ownership link clear between the incoming dollars and the minted stablecoin.
Matching and Review Steps
When the wire reaches the platform Agora matches it against the stored route. If every detail lines up the mint occurs automatically. Wires that do not match are held for manual review rather than rejected outright. No single wire can trigger two separate mints, which protects the integrity of each holder’s position.
Supported Chains
AUSD runs on mainnet deployments across Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, and Base. Holders can direct their minted stablecoin to any of those chains by naming the chain inside the route. The choice stays with the holder at setup time and does not change the one-for-one mint outcome.
Security Built Into Ownership
The memo design and on-file account rule together reduce the chance of misdirected funds. A holder who follows the route instructions keeps full control over where the resulting AUSD lands. The review process for mismatched wires adds another layer that prevents automatic payouts on unclear deposits.
Next Steps Outlined by Agora
Agora plans to extend the same automation to dollar redemptions. A wire status view inside the platform is also listed as upcoming work. These additions would give holders the same route-based control on the way out that they now have on the way in. The current live feature already delivers direct ownership utility for anyone who wires dollars into an established route.
